Corri & Alex { South of France Wedding }

Corri and Alex, a multi-national couple, live in the USA but mad their dream of a South of France wedding come true. Alex is originally from France and so only one side of the guests flew in from overseas. Everything on that day took place at the same château, from Getting Ready to party at night.

I met Corri and her bridesmaids in a wonderful room on the wedding day. She really thought about everything: From matching robes to small jewellery gifts. The silk robes with floral print matched the French feeling of the day perfectly. In small macaroon shapes cases were pretty necklaces with a pendant saying „Love“ for every bridesmaid. From crystal adorned Badgley Mishka heels to uniquely beautiful vintage wedding bands – this day was a French dream!

Corri got dressed with the help of her mother. Then the first highlight of the day happened, when her father saw her for the first time as a bride. Thinking back I still get goosebumps! Everyone was so touched and you could see how proud Corri’s father was. What a very special moment for everyone.

„Oui & Yes“ under the French Sky

Corri and Alex wanted to see each other for the first time during the ceremony. So the bride, bridesmaids and I spent some time with wedding photography in the wonderful room of the château .

Then it was finally time to get married. Corri and her father walk side-by-side down the aisle. On a field in front of an arch decorated with flowers they said „Oui & Yes“. The weather could not have been better, so the reception took place outside as well.
Corri has fantastic taste. That’s why it was no surprise the wedding cake matched the decor perfectly. The dinner was lovely and everyone celebrated the newlyweds with a glass of self-made French liquor.
To end the day on an unforgettable note we went outside and released paper lanterns with best wishes for the couple into the French night sky.

I’m so happy to still be in touch with Cori and Alex. Their dream of a South of France wedding in a château will always be one of my favourite memories of all time
