Marissa & Ryan { Engagement Photographers NYC }
This engagement shooting is up to date one of my absolute favourites. The locations, the couple, the outfits – everything was perfect. Marissa and Ryan knew exactly where they wanted to have the engagement photos taken. As engagement photographers NYC Grand Central is one of the most amazing locations you can ever shoot at. But what most people don’t know: You can’t just go in and take some photos. You need a special permit, that has to be organised ahead of time. As soon as we had that permit in our pockets we could start to plan the rest of the day.
So we started at Grand Central and were super lucky. It was the perfect time when the sun was right behind the beautiful, magnificent old windows of the main hall. I simply love these photos! Of course we also took advantage of the old ticket booths and lamps before we hopped in a cab down to Meatpacking District.
Midtwon Glam to Downtown Cool
Change of location, change of outfit. Marissa wore a pretty blue shift dress to give the photos a feminine downtown vibe. The Highline and streets of the Meatpacking District are actually one of my favourite backgrounds EVER. As engagement photographers NYC this is a location you cannot miss!
Before we ended the photo shoot Marissa and Ryan changed their outfits again. They went with jeans and T-shirt to match the graffitis in the downtown area. While the sun was going down behind the cobblestone streets we ended the day on a note that could not have been more fun and perfect.
These engagement photos were not only perfectly planned, but also a lot of fun to shoot. Marissa and Ryan are an amazing couple! I got the chance to not only be their engagement photographers NYC, but they also choose me as their New York wedding photographer right after this photoshoot.
